KidSport of Barrie and Simcoe County is a regional chapter of KidSport Ontario and Canada. We raise money to give grants to families to put our kids into sports activities. Eligible families can apply online for a support grant. The grant is intended to help with the cost of registration fees and equipment. An average grant is about $250.
Ours is a homegrown solution. We will make the difference for our kids because we know that every kid is an opportunity, and we don’t want any opportunity missed. KidSport is people helping people. We are here to help families help their kids participate in healthy physical activity. The funds we raise make our community better – one kid at a time.
